Pete Bremy
""My Moody Leather strap’s wide, very thin and soft construction conforms to my shoulder, and distributes the the weight of my bass evenly. It’s the most comfortable strap I have ever used. It’s over ten years old and like new."
Pete Bremy has been playing bass for over 50 years, and has been bassist for Vanilla Fudge since 2010. He started touring with the Fudge as a sub for original Fudge bassist Tim Bogert in 2002 when Tim suddenly became ill. Tim retired in 2009, and Pete took over bass duties permanently. He also replaced Tim in Cactus, featuring originals Jim McCarty (Mitch Rider and the Detroit Wheels) on guitar and Carmine Appice on drums, in 2011. Vince Martell, original guitarist for Vanilla Fudge, recently recruited Pete for his power trio. Pete has also toured with singer/songwriter Essra Mohawk, and plays in northern New Jersey in Carnaby St., a British Invasion tribute band. He has played in rhythm sections with some famous drummers, including of course Carmine Appice, Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel), Tc Tolliver (The Plasmatics), and Albert Bouchard (Blue Öyster Cult).
