NYC bassist Bryan Ladd grew up in Hartford, CT where he began playing bass around the age of 12. His father is an accomplished musician, which gave Bryan an excellent musical foundation.
In 2002, Bryan began studying at Berkee College of Music on a generous scholarship. During his enrollment, Bryan was selected to perform with guest artists and faculty members including Chaka Kahn, Dave Samuels, Russell Ferrante, Terry Lynn Carrington, George Duke, Marcus Baylor, John Blackwell, and Jean Baylor.
Upon graduating from Berklee, Bryan moved to New York City. He has since performed and recorded with artists including Alyson Williams, Ari Hoenig, Gordon Chambers, Melba Moore, Cliff Almond, Monifah, Ron Grant, Lyle Divinsky, Miki Howard, Melissa Morgan, and many others.
