Joel Hutsell was born in Orlando, Florida on November 18, 1988. Joel started playing guitar at the age of 12 and was heavily influenced at an early age by his cousins, The Warren Brothers, who had a record deal from the late 90’s-mid 2000’s. The Warren Brother’s pulled him up on stage in a smokey South Florida bar and Joel has been hooked on playing ever since. Sports took up the majority of Joel’s time in high school but after college football didn’t pan out he set his sights on Music City at the beginning of 2011. after a solid year of playing Nashville’s honky tonks, Joel met a singer-songwriter named Cole Swindell in 2012 who hired Joel to be his guitar player and had him put a band together. Swindell got his record deal in the summer of 2013 and the same band that Joel put together is still his touring band, with Joel being the lead guitar player. Joel played with Swindell on Luke Bryan’s 2014 That’s My Kinda Night tour and is currently on tour as direct support on Jason Aldean’s Burn It Down tour.
