Originally from New York City, Joe Augello made a name for himself as a session guitarist, producing major label remixes and performing with various bands and artists in and around New York.
Joe moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and quickly became part of the LA scene. He has toured, performed and recorded with Robin Thicke, Jennifer Hudson, Backstreet Boys, Nikki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind & Fire, Fantasia, Sheila E., DW3, Angie Stone, Howard Hewitt, Bobby Brown, The Mary Jane Girls, Dave Koz, Andy Vargas, Jessy J, Ali Woodson, Tevin Campbell, The Game, Macy Gray, Jennifer Holliday, Kid Cudi, Jay Sean, Mohombi, Warren G and many more.
In 2008, Joe became a part of Robin Thicke's band in support of his "Something Else" album. Since then, Joe has toured the world and appeared on Robin's latest albums.
In 2009, Joe toured with Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson for her first full length American tour. 2009 also saw Joe perform with the Backstreet Boys in support of their "This Is Us" album.
Joe's notable Television appearances include: MTV Video Awards, Oprah, The Tonight Show, Ellen, Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, The View, Conan, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, Spectacle with Elvis Costello, The Today Show, Howard Stern, America's Got Talent, Regis & Kelly, Carson Daly, Good Morning America, Steven Colbert Report.
Joe is also heavily involved in Christian/Worship music and has worked with many artists including Israel Houghton, Jimmy Needham, BJ Putnam, Adam Ranney, Ricardo Sanchez, Mac Powell, Jeremy Camp, CeCe Winans, Jason Crabb, Lucia Parker and many others.
In 2007 Joe became the Music Director for Free Chapel OC in Irvine led by Pastor Jentezen Franklin and in 2011 released the album Echo in which Joe co wrote the song "No Thing". Joe is gaining success as a songwriter and in 2013 he co wrote two songs on Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines album with the songs "Ooo La La" and "Ain't No Hat 4 That".
Joe signed with Reach Music Publishing and has been collaborating with many talented writers. A song he co wrote "Forcefield" will be featured on the 2015 American Idol finale and released as a single.
Joe is currently producing various artists at his Los Angeles studio and is very excited about his upcoming projects.
